M.C. Escher spent a life-time perfecting geometric drawing. Tesselations was his specialty. This is one of the most complex tesselation patterns you can do (called a p31m). It is animated as well.

Took about 15 minutes.

Wow, that's great. I've been exposed to a lot of Escher lately, and this is really nice. I wonder what he would have thought about something like this? Really nice work here!

I think that he would have been extatic at finding a way to have a precise reproduction of his art that can be easily and quickly manipulated. Afterall, his pieces usually took years to create. I went from introduction to animation in the course of a few hours. If *he* had this technology, he's pwn my ripoff. ^.^

I really do love Escher's work (mixing art and mathematics), and this is a really tight implementation of tesselation, and it looks amazing. Nice work.
